the sow backstory.
SOW was founded by Cath Woolridge in 2010. In the past decade, we have run creativity and worship conferences for children and adults; established a thriving community choir, and recorded four worship albums.
SOW has also toured prisons, schools, care homes, and churches. SOW have also led worship at Christian conferences both nationally and internationally such as New Wine, New Wine Cymru, New Word Alive, National Prayer Breakfast of Wales, and Spring Harvest. We have creatively invested into small community projects, as well as provided worship training for local churches. We have partnered with ministries like Bible Society, Bible College of Wales, Elevation Music, and Integrity Music. Just recently, SOW has set up a YouTube channel to offer a suite of resources for the church and launched a platform called the ‘Creative Exchange’ which is an online hub of digital content to inspire and equip through faith and creativity.
As we head into this new season, poet and storyteller Dai Woolridge will be leading the vision and creative strategy for SOW alongside Cath. As part of this, Dai’s creative ministry ‘Spoken-Truth’ will be incorporated into the vision of SOW.
We are excited to expand our creative vision as we seek to story-tell the sacred, equip generations, and impact communities and culture.
